Interested in a project?

There is always room for those with the drive to research!

For those interested in research projects in the areas outlined you will need to look into financing your studies. Most schemes can be used for PhDs as well as Masters. Please note, you must be funded to be accepted for either program at UNSW (no self funding allowed).

Domestic Students

There are a number of schemes that you can apply for. More information on the Australian Federal Government Research Training Program (RTP), the UNSW University Postgraduate Award (UPA) and the UNSW Faculty Top Up schemes can be found here:

International Students

There are a number of schemes that you can apply for within UNSW and Australia. More information on the Australian Federal Government Research Training Program (RTP), the UNSW University International Postgraduate Award (UIPA) and the UNSW Tuition Fee Scholarship (TFS) schemes:

The RTP and UIPA schemes are extremely competitive.

The TFS scheme requires the project supervisor (that would be me) to have enough funds (over a long enough time period) to pay a set stipend (this number is not negotiable).

There is also the Australia Awards Scholarships, but there is a limited number of countries that this applies to. More details can be found here:

You might see the Endeavour Leadership Program mentioned in places, but this schemes is not longer funded, according to the Australian Federal Government.
